Category Blitz is Trivia Gauntlet's take on the classic name place animal thing party game — the same category-guessing idea behind Scattergories, played online with a spinning letter wheel and a countdown timer instead of a board, pen, and paper. Every round works the same way: spin for a letter, then write a word that starts with it for each category on your list before time runs out.

The default set is Name, Animal, Place, Thing, and Food, but you're not stuck with it — swap in any of 30+ ready-made categories instead, like Colors, Countries, Cities, Movies, Books, Songs, Sports Teams, Video Games, Superheroes, Celebrities, Drinks, and more, or type your own. Play Solo to practice at your own pace, pass the phone to a friend for local head-to-head rounds, or challenge someone online from anywhere — no board game, no separate timer, no pen and paper, just your phone or browser.
