How to Play
Trivia Gauntlet has different modes depending on how you want to play. Some modes are longer and better for deep sessions, while others are built for quick rounds, survival runs, or word-based games.
Marathon Mode
Marathon Mode is the main quiz experience. Each run gives you a page of questions, and when you finish that page you can continue to the next one for more. It is designed for longer sessions and is the best mode if you want to sit down and really test your knowledge of a theme.
Survival Mode
Survival Mode is higher pressure. One wrong answer ends the run, so every choice matters. You also get lifelines such as 50-50 and Call a Friend, which can help you stay alive when a question gets difficult. This mode is about streaks, risk, and seeing how long you can survive without making a mistake.
Episode Mode
Episode Mode is built for hardcore fans. Questions are grouped by episode, and each one includes context to set the scene before you answer. After you submit, you see the correct answer and an explanation. This mode is best if you want a more guided, story-based quiz experience instead of a fast general round.
Wordle Mode
Wordle Mode gives you themed words to guess in the style of a word puzzle. You make guesses, use the keyboard, and get feedback on which letters are correct or in the wrong place. It is a quicker, lighter mode that works well if you want something different from standard multiple-choice trivia.
Challenge Mode
Challenge Mode is made for short rounds. Each round gives you a smaller set of questions, making it a faster way to play than Marathon Mode. You can move from one round to the next, or share a round link with a friend so they can try the exact same set of questions.
Word Search
Word Search gives you a grid of letters with themed words hidden inside. Words can run horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. It is a lighter mode that works well as a break from standard trivia and is available across multiple pages per theme.
Trivia Rush
Trivia Rush is a score-attack mode built around speed and streaks. Questions progress from Easy to Expert, and each correct answer earns base points multiplied by your current multiplier. Answer 3 in a row correctly and your multiplier goes up. Miss 2 in a row and it drops — plus you take a double deduction on the second miss. The higher your score, the bigger the penalty for getting questions wrong. Fill the Heat Meter with 10 consecutive correct answers to trigger Double Points for the next 3 questions. Your score can never go below zero, but if it hits zero, the run ends.
Buying Packs and Playing Ad-Free
Some themes also have purchasable packs. Buying a pack lets you support the project and unlock an ad-free way to play that theme, along with extra benefits depending on the mode. If a theme has a pack available, you can use the Ad-Free links around the site to find it.
